Drupalcon Paris 2009
The DrupalCon Paris 2009 had a remarkable program powered by a stunning team. The attendees had the choice to follow sessions depending on four different tracks:
- From zero to hero
- Code it, test it, deploy it
- Business development and Strategy
- User Experience and design
Simon Elliott, who was volunteering for this event, attended most of the Ubercart related sessions (especially those given by Mike O'Connor from the Commerce Guys). Gilles Bailleux was more interested by theming related sessions, case studies and Open Atrium; the last day, he helped to translate modules in french.
The Conference was also a unique occasion to talk to great Drupal developers (and talented themers like Jake Strawn) in informal meetings on the venue or in special events organized by the Drupal France & francophonie Association.
One more word: each tiny detail regarding the organization was under Isabell Schulz's supervision... which is why everything went fine!
