About 150 people from Belgium, France and Germany came to the campus of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) to attend the first belgian DrupalCamp. This event is a good example a successful flemish/walloon cooperation: the original idea came from Joeri Poesen who contacted Gilles Bailleux to boost the french speaking Drupal community in Belgium through a DrupalCamp. Together (also with the help of Kristof Van Tomme and Roel De Meester), they set up an ambitious program who even got some press attention.

Simon Elliott presented an e-commerce website with an online transaction made through a Bancontact/Mister Cash card using the MultiSafePay payment gateway. This was the first time such a showcase was presented because the module developed by Coworks had only been released two weeks before the DrupalCamp.
