Drupal events
At AWF we like to get involved with the Drupal community at every opportunity.
The DrupalCon Paris 2009 had a remarkable program powered by a stunning team. The attendees had the choice to follow sessions depending on four different tracks:
- From zero to hero
- Code it, test it, deploy it
- Business development...
About 150 people from Belgium, France and Germany came to the campus of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) to attend the first belgian DrupalCamp. This event is a good example a successful flemish/walloon cooperation: the original idea came from Joeri Poesen who contacted Gilles Bailleux to boost the french speaking Drupal...
One of the first drupalcamps in France to be held outside of Paris. This camp attracted visitors from all over South East France aswell as the usual crowd from Paris.
It was a good impromptu meeting for further disscussion regarding the organisation of the Drupalcon in September.
Simon from AWF made an 'intro to Drupal' presentation to a group of enthusistic Drupal newbies.
A quick whip round provided us with the funds to buy the statutory essential for any French...
More of a mini Drupal conference than a DrupalCamp, organised with great German efficiency.
Simon from AWF made his first presentation to the Drupal community, explaining the basics of setting up your first site with Drupal. It was also a great occasion to see some Ubercart drupalers and talk about the latest dev releases.
